Solana Weekly #43 - Calm Before the Pamp

What’s up everybody! This is Thomas Bahamas and you are here for another episode of Solana Weekly. I’m here to uncover the alpha, break down what's going on, and try to figure out where Solana is taking us. Solana is gaining traction with it’s partnerships with Shopify, Visa, and a recent SVM rollup launched on Eth and the timeline has been insane. We’re seeing the Solana keyboard warriors out in full force and the .eth’s in disbelief. We got a quick one today.

To the market:

Sol Price: $20.16 and holding steady. Strong week for Sol. Up 9.51% on the week and looking juicy af.

SolEth- .01240 This is what I’m talking about with an increase of 8.3% and a heap of fud coming out of the .eth’s because of it. We love to see it.

SolBtc - Up baby, up 9%.

To the market:

Overall sentiment seems to be altcoins bad, btc to run this show? This is how it’s always gone historically. For reference, before BTC’s last ATH it went from 3k to 69k. So when we look at little increases, we need to remember the king had a 20x

Still think solana holds vs btc but the timeline thinks otherwise.

Bankless bros are starting to fire back after getting ratio’d over and over.

Think this is only the start.

FOMC release today expected to not raise rates.

NFT’s seeing more traction, SMB’s over 100!

FriendTech is pumping and going crazy. I think it’s actually great for the space. Coinbase’s L2 is getting a ton of traction and it’s a unique product. Solana will copy this and is, we saw a potential rug clone called Friendzy and there’s another called Only1. They have a token called Like, and I’ve got a small bag hoping for a pump when they release on the 22nd.

Qualifications for a podcast. I think this is a funny topic to review, but probably necessary. With amazing people that dedicate their life to this space we are seeing amazing content being pushed. Mert, Nic Carter, Austin, etc. If you want the most up to date and technical drawdowns, you should be listening to those. But I think there is a ton of room for people talking about what it’s like to be a user of Solana. I think that’s how we gain adoption, the tech is great and the conversations are needed, but there’s a lot more to this story. We need millions of people to view the space and understand what you can do.
